Hello readers,
I know it's very late this time.I mean I am writing my post after almost a month's time. You know what!!! in this months a lot event took place in my life.It was my fresher's party on 27th sep and our dress code was a saree. It is a tedious and a very cumbersome job to wear a saree and to take care of it but of course all of us (me and my friends ) managed it very well. However, it wasn't that great as it was expected. It was good for the junior's who got rid of their seniors.Even we enjoyed ourselves when we were given our fresher's party last year.
The second event was MY BIRTHDAY i.e. 11th oct.B'days are great for everyone. For me it's just one day where I've freedom to do anything whatever I please to and of course the level of importance which you receive is marvellous. The best part of my b'day is that I share my b'day with Mr. Amitabh Bacchan.I enjoyed my day to the best. What happens to me is that the next day after my b day I feel sad thinkingthat now my bday will fall next year. How, funny is that....
The third thing is the sessionals which almost went very pathetic. The question papers of all the subjects were unexpected. This really makes me feel very sad. But,it's all gone now.I vow to look forward.
Now,my favourite festival is approaching i.e. Diwali.I am very fond of it.However,I don't like bursting crackers but I like the decorations of the market as well as the residential areas laden with lights of different type.I am eagerly waiting for this festival to approach.
It might be possible that my next post will be written after diwali so I wish my readers a very Happy and a safe Diwali.....
Thanx for reading....
take care....

SMOKING....
Hiii readers,
A very warm welcome.I would like to mention the fact that some people visit my profile and they have a problem regarding one of my previous posts. So, it's a special mention for them, those who don't like kindly don't visit my blog .It is my webpage and I am the owner of this .It's my wish to write anything about anyone. So,you can't stop me.That was all about this.
This post is written to throw shadow on "smoking" i.e. to smoke cigarette. From the past one year I've been observing that the no. of smokers here in India is really high.Since I ve started plying in the private buses from last year I ve reckoned the problem very closely.Every second person in the bus smokes. They are not only playing with their life but also with those who are nearby. There is a huge mention in the bus "NO SMOKING" but it isn't surprising to see the conductor of the same bus smoking proudly. What really makes me feel bad is that why should other's suffer due to this smoke. It is really intolerable for me but then I can't help it.Even if you ask them to stop that they don't get away with it.So, I find useless to speak anything.
I don't understand why do people smoke?? When it's harmful for your health then what's the point of harming yourself and I am sure that each smoker is aware of the implications than why are you giving a slow poison to yourself and the one's standing nearby. It's common to see young boys smoking outside their college or their schools. For them it's a sense of pride that who smokes is brave. It's goes without saying that the bolywood's personalities including both male and female are chain smokers. However,in certain sections of society smoking is a part of page 3 parties and no there is no fun without it.But if they think about the consequences of smoking for a while they'll realise that they should quit it.It is also worth mentioning that Saif ali Khan was once admitted to the hospital due to certain problems caused by smoking.
Well this is all what I wanted to mention for this fortnight...
Have a nice time.

BEIJING 2008
Hello readers,
Its been quite a long time since my last post.I want to express my perceptions on the olympic games held in China in the last month. The games amazing beginning as well as ending was highly appreciated by all.India also managed to grab the 1st olympic gold in the 10 m air rifle after 28 yrs.He made the entire nation feel proud. It makes me feel very sad that the nations like USA, China,Russia as well as other nations grabbed 50 golds and India achieved it's first gold now.The nation with million's of people managed to grab only one gold is really shameful. On one hand we say Indians are highly talented and on the other hand we stand on 50th position in the field of sports.

OUR 61st INDEPENDENCE DAY..
Hello visitors,
First of all I would like to wish my readers a very happy independence day. We have completed 61 years of independence but we still aren't that independent. The rising crime, corruption unemployment, brain drain and problem like these make us still feel caught without freedom . Let me start with the rising crime, the crime in the metro cities has reached an alarming rate. We are not free to roam in the market...WHY?? the bomb blast fear dont let you to do that. What kind of freedom is it?where you cant enjoy yourself with peace. We can't wear the jewellery we please to wear ..WHY?? the chain snatcher's are everywhere .Then what's the use of buying jewellery when you can't wear them ,again you are not free .Thirdly, you can't go and enjoy yourself during the vacations because there you have terrorist attacks.Tourist are not safe anywhere.
Here,in this independent nation there is no equality .Some people are richly laden with all the facilities and some are still fighting with the problem of beggary. What kind of freedom is this?We have people who can't afford their children's studies whereas the student's who have studied and are wizard fly away to the developed nation where they benefit to that nation. We have so many names in that list for eg. Kalpana Chawla, Sunita Williams and too many to mention. Not only they flee there but also take citizenship of that country and what we Indians are left with saying that they are native to India. This is the problem that brain drain has posed to us.
Let's move into corruption and extortion problem .They are even hiking year by year .The politician are mostly involved in this kind of job.People are in so much hurry that they are ready to spend pennies instead of waiting. They are totally impatient. The problem of bribery is most common in the public sector.Unemployment and population explosion are also major problems.
There is no restriction for population.Over population is responsible for unemployment and it is unemployment that vents away to brain drain.
It is only 15th AUG. that generates the feeling of patriotism in everybody's mind. What about the rest of the days ?? don't they deserve to be a part of independent India. For most of us 15th aug is just a holiday for hanging out with the friends and partying around. The young generation is not at all aware about the significance of the I-day.According to me on I day we all must spend atleast 2 min remembering the freedom fighters who gave away their life for the independent India and also we must promise to ourself to protect the nation by changing ourself instead of changing others and waiting for others to change.
JAI HIND....

OLD V/s NEW
Welcome readers,
The main objective behind this post is to share my views about the new and the old epic shown on TV.The new Ramayna ,Mahabharta, and Shree Krishna telecasted on imagine,9X and colors respectively are trying to evict the stories behind them. But what do you think are they compatible with the old one's?? Will they be able to shine like the previous one's ,where people used to finish their job and wait for these shows and even the road used to get vacated to watch them.People used to stick to their television sets to enjoy them.
Let me begin with the Ramayana. It is shown at 9:30 pm on imagine. This Ramayana is highly appreciated both by children as well as the adults.Albeit, both share their production house both are equally marvellous.Their costumes ,their speaking style as well as the language used are amazing. On watching this ramayana ,it don't compel me to compare it with the previous one. They have new characters which were never seen on other tv serials. However, one can cite many similarities b/w the two for instance, their dialogues.
Now let's step into the world of Mahabharta at 9:00 pm on 9X. I recently watched the old one by BR Chopra and the new one by soap queen Ekta Kapoor.I strongly feel that BR Chopra 's mahabharta is the best.No one can ever make the mahabharta like this. The previous one does not let you feel that you are watching a serial,it seems that you are watching the actual battle fought b/w the kaurava's and the pandava's at kurukshetra.I just love it.The sets ,mahal's,mukuts ,costumes are mind blowing.Even the character suit to their roles and they have really worked hard to show their best which they have actually done.On the other hand if you watch "Kahanii hamarey mahabharta kii",it literally sucks. It seems like watching another daily soap of Ekta Kapoor with a little bit of humour. For instance ,Shakuni's wife shown frenetic in the act.It has been designed without overhauling the exact epic. The show started with Draupadi's cheer haran in which Draupadi cried like another saas-bahu saga clad in a red saree as Prerna's outfit in the daily Kasutii Zindagi Kay.The costumes are awful. The daily soap's character are seen playing different role. All men with nice physique and body structure are appointed for the role.Ekta Kapoor seems to be experimenting which is criticised by so many.
Coming to last but not the least,Shree Krishna on colors at 8:30 pm.However ,I have just seen only one episode of the new one I feel it's also good with no drawbacks as such.It is an another good attempt to let the audience know about the lives of shree krishna.
At the end I would just like to say to curb down the Ekta Kapoor's act and in turn the channel should show the previous one.

RISING COMPETITION::BUT WHERE ARE THE SEATS???
Welcome readers
In the present scenario, competition is increasing year by year but it is a matter of fact that the no. of seats in MBBS is similar to the one which was 10-12 years back.Every year a large no. of students appear for entrance exams but only few are the lucky one's who make their way to AIIMS and the other state PMT'S.Some of them even try their luck for next year by completely dedicating themselves for the preparation .For some it becomes like a cake walk but for others the result is not fruitful. Some of them end up their struggle by taking admissions in Bsc. while the others having option of maths embrace engineering as their profession.
However, no. of seats in engineering is still more that it can accomodate biology students as well. It's far much easier to get into engineering with an equal labour and hardwork in medicine. For instance,my friend Anahita(name changed) dropped an year for medical but she managed to secure 890 rank in DPMT while my another friend Tanya(name changed) got 947 rank in DCE.Since, DPMT has 400 seats for MBBS Anahita couldn't made her way to medical and she has planned to take admission in low grade engineering collegeas she has no other option while Tanya has managed to grab a seat in a good delhi engineering college. This all makes the student frentic and depressed.
With every step taken to make our nation developed we forget about the educational problem .The main motive behind my blog is to cast shadow on the problem of seats in medical. Not only the rising competition but also the scam of leakage of examination paper is responsible for the altercation involved in the seat problem.I personally feel that the seats should be hiked and that too govt. because the private colleges can not be afforded by the common man.I feel that private colleges are meant for those students who want their child to become a doctor by hook or by crook and are willing to pay any amount for the same.
Thanks...

Reality shows:Are they really real??
We are all aware about the brimming reality shows on our Indian television. But do you think they have any reality in them.It be the howling of Rakhi Sawant at the finals of Nach Baliye of starplus or any other reality show.It is just the TRP and the rising competition among the channels that they introduce these reality shows. The musical shows are at a great height. It is saregamapa for zee tv,voice of india for star plus and the most famous indian idol for sony channel. For a change ,they replace their judges every year and whats ironical is that the one seen working for one channel as a judge is seen working for some other in next year.Even the dance shows are not far behind,It started off with nach baliye, jhalak dikhlaaja and then the list went on and on.This is just the foreign concept which we Indians are following today.Indian idol is just the replica of American idol, the show big boss is also the replica of big brother. And now the Indian brains are working with the concept of both dancing and singing like the one "Ek se bhadkar ek" on zeetv. Not only this but even the kids are being dragged in this mess. They perform on the stage and do their best but finally when it comes for eliminations they face a hard time. They are not strong enough to fight all this.It goes without saying that some of the reality shows like KBC have highly succeeded in rocking the Indian television.Unfortunately their counterparts failed to do so.
Coming to the main point ,i.e. what percent of the show is true????? The audience poll ,this is what they say decides the winner but what do you think is it entirely public dependent ?Well I dont agree with this. What about the mess that the contestants generally have with the judges or their co-participants.That is for sure a fake. This is generally done to hike the TRP's of their serial.Public is generally fooled by these reality shows and many atime they get emotional without knowing the real fact.
We still have many new reality shows coming on our television .On of them is the one hosted by Akshay Kumar on the new channel colours. However ,the show is already over and the winner has been declared but is yet to come on the television.Let's see how much truth will be depicted in that serial with the girls showing their stunts.

BACK AFTER A MONTH....
A very warm welcome to the visitors,
I am writing my post after one and a half month. It was a very busy time for me.firstly,I ve joined C classes secondly, I was equipped with so many guests in my home.In this short time I ve realised to mention so many things in the blog.On 29th june I went to the delhi zoo with my uncle.I found the zoo quite good. But it had many misguiding things .For instance, I didnt find any lion inside the zoo. There were so many people who came to the zoo just to have a glance of the lion with naked eye.But the NZP didnt made any effort to disclose the fact about the presence of lion. Not only this even the panthers as well as leopards and tigers were also missing. This made me felt really very bad but I can't help it.
After the IPL India had two tournaments namely kitply cup as well as asia cup.It was good that India managed to enter the finals but unfortunately lost both of them. I personally feel that there should be more than one final match to decide the winners. It can be said that it was the bad luck only that India couldnt win the finals.
As I mentioned in my previous post about my exams ,now even the result has been declared.I managed to score 83.6% marks in my 2nd sem.Well that was all due God's grace.I ve joined aptech for my computer class which I found is not very good. The teacher do not value time .He's never on time.Well leaving that behind ,my classes should get over by 18th hopefully.
Then I ll plan to freak out with my friends.
I even want to mention that HALDIRAMS has been recently innaugrated in my neighbouring mall ie Crossriver mall.I decided to have lunch there with my family members .What was shocking to me was the crowd on the 4th day of its innaugral. It was literally like a fish market .Some people were standing ,waiting for others to get up while others were struggling hard to get the food. The food was obviously expensive but does not worth that. The food quality was not great. What shocks me the most is the crowd. You go anywhere on the weekends I bet you will not get any desired parking place. On 8th june when I turned up to India gate there was no parking space plus people kept on coming even at 9 in the night.Once I decided to watch a movie on the weekend but again the same crowd dont let me get a ticket .This makes me think about the future of my nation. If this crowd continues then the days are not far when common people like me will have to buy a bicycle to go from one place to another because there wont be any place for the cars on the road and no parking space..
Thats all for now and I ll try to update my post every weekend ,
Have a nice time

LIFE AFTER EXAMS....
Welcome readers,
Finally, I am over with my exams, but still left with the practicals. For me its still the same because before my exams I was tensed about my performance in the exams and now I am more worried about the result. I am the kind of person who actually takes a lot of tension cant help it because its a hereditary problem.Anyways, life is just getting smooth slowly and coming back to track now.I ve already planned a lot for my holidays.Firstly, I ll work towards my blog and will try to make it the best one. Then I ll get my permanent driving licence for which I am very excited and I ve to enroll myself in learning computer language ie C#.Well that was about me.
The last fortnight was full of results both of competition as well as boards. This reminded me of my time ,I mean my anxiety and excitement for my result but this time enjoyed asking results from others. But,what made me sad was the defeat of delhi dare devils in the semis of IPL 20-20.I wanted delhi to win the IPL trophy but even Rajasthan had done a great job. They deserved to be in the finals.Let's see which is the other team to reach in the finals.Well the match is really reaching its height of excitement.Today I ll surely support the Chennai Super kings because I dont like Mohali as it belongs Preity and I dont like her.Tomorrow in the finals I ll support Rajasthan as they just rock the IPL.Well, Ive nothing more to write about now, but I ll be surely back with with something new and intersting.
Good bye for now
take care....

2nd sem.....
Hello visitors,
There's nothing new to write this time.My semester exams are going on. It was maths on friday. It went well but not that good as I wanted it to be.The silly mstakes never leave me .I am really fed up of it.But now Ive another exam coming up..ie Chemistry. This time the university has given long breaks for exam....4 days for chemistry that even these 4 days are sufficient to prepare the entire course.Well exams are just part of student's lives. But I sometimes feel that are they necessary to judge one's capability or knowledge ???? Everybody can get marks either by mugging up or using some unfair means. In my opinion marks should not be the sole criteria for judging the student. These marks put pressure on the students both by the teachers as well as their parents. When the student gets less marks it does not depict that the student is fool or a duffer but it is actually the examination time which matters the most.Several factors come into play the student may become nervous,he/she is not well, the sudent may develop a phobia which makes him forget everything after glancing the question paper. So exams should be abolished in order to cease these unnecessary pressure. Instead the student must be encouraged for outdoor activities ,sports, quiz etc.According to me the best student is not the one who tops his class but the one who is a wizard in all fields even if getting 20 rank in his class. But some parents feel that being a topper of the class is everything even if their child suffers from mental illness due to this.
My personal opinion is that the classroom teaching should be replaced by practical teaching ie teaching students in the form of practicals .In this way the student will not only enjoy but also take interest in all the subjects. In order to judge them their class room performances should be the criteria ie how they respond to a particular topic and what do they feel about it. Student's suggestion should be the prime consideration. This will broaden up their mind and their thinking will also enlarge .Schools should provide more educational trips and excursions so that the student enjoys coming to school. Parents should also pay heed to the children's interest i.e. their talents and hobbies and should encourage it rather than pressurising them for their studies..
Hope you enjoyed reading my post...
Have a nice time..
Gooddbye for now..
DIFFERENT PEOPLE,DIFFERENT MINDSETS
Hello friends,
It was a very hectic and a busy week for me.I had my sessionals from 24th to 26th of this month. However, third sessionals are optional but I deciced to appear in all of them. They were just fine.In this post I would like to mention the pscyology of people in different areas. My father has a transferrable job ,so I got my school changed 6 times. During this time, I met different peoples with different mindsets.
To start with,I started my schooling from ST. JOSEPH'S ACADEMY, Delhi. I don't remember much of those days because I was just a kid at that time.I studied there till class 3.
My father got transferred to Almora, which is an awesome place.I studied in Beer Sheba school. The students were completely different as compared to that of delhi. Even the teachers were more biased towards the local students i.e. who were native to the place.
It was Bhimtal next.I got my class 7th done in Hermann Gmeiner school .I was grown up then ,I started realizing facts about life and discovered many new things. The students there were highly competitive as well as intelligent.Even the boys there were co-perative, helpful and very friendly. We shared a good unity amongst each other.
Now it was Delhi again. I was use to shifting from place to place as well as change of school. This time it was class 8th.The atmosphere ,way of teaching was completely different, but I adjusted very comfortably. It was Vivekanand school. The students were nice,of course grown ups. Many of them had their girlfriends and boyfriends while many had crushes.Life was very comfortable and enjoying without any tension.I got my class 10th done here with 92.8% marks so I decided to move on to the new school that is the no.1school of India DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL R.K. PURAM.
So,this time it was my 6th school. There were many new students about 90% of them were new.The students there were wizards in every field.I just love the way they communicate, they enjoy ...Everything was amazing. They were very intelligent. We had almost the best faculty.Since,it was my class 11th &12th, studies demanded a great labour. So I couldn't enjoy that much but was the most unforgettable experience's of my life.
Now,It's my college again. The students are amazingly different.I never expected the kind of crowd at Ghaziabad to be like that. The students after getting admission in to the college think that they ve got everything in their life and now there's just lack of girl friends or boy friends.I know it's human nature but come on, this is not everything!!! there's so much more to do.What was more schocking to me was that people here can't digest things in their tummy. They spread the things like wild fire. This is more than that of old aunties who cant digest anything.Nahar (name changed)one of the students of my class, tried to impress every girl of the class and tried to establish the goodwill in the class. But howlong, can a person hide his reality from others.
Neem(name changed),seemed such a nice guy that none can be nicer than him. But one day truth came out and his goodness was vanished at once.sanky(name changed) has a soft corner for each and every girl of the class and is the biggest chugalikhor of the class. God bless his mind.
Thats all for today....

I am back again........
Hello everybody,
I know it's quite long since I wrote my last post, but I can't help it now as my semester exams are approaching.Anyways lots of new things happened since then but the most important one ie IPL. I just love it. I am strong supporter of Delhi dare devils as obvious being a delhite. This time the teams are setting a big record.Well that"s good as the records are meant to be broken. Generally, I don't take interest in cricket matches. The last time I enjoyed the match was the final's of of T20. I still remember that breath taking last ball by Joginder Sharma that aroused a curious interst for 20-20 matches in me.
Today I read the article in HT about the benefits of writing a blog. I was amazed by reading it. I got to know how a person being an engineer got a profession in journalism. This fascinates me to regularly update my blog. But ,the fuss is all about time.I leave at 8 in the morning and get back by 7in the evening. This busy schedule don't allow me to spend time on internet. But now the things have changed as my exams are approaching and I am at home studying. My 2nd Sem exam will end by 29th May. Then I "ll have sufficient time to spend it towards my blog. I am a first year engineering student so I have to study all the subjects whether it be physics, chemistry or maths. However , I am a computer science student but the first year is common to all. So I ll have my computer subjects from next year. Then even Ill become senior and will rag my juniors...I mean just introductions which I gave last year.
Well I am ending my post now and will try to update it as soon as possible.
Till then enjoy and have a nice time.....
take care

My very first Post...........
Hello everybody,
I am new to the world of blogging but as the time will pass i ll become use to it.I was really confused about the title of my blog ,I really thought a lot but ended up in thinking nothing special.Simply surbhi thats it...
As its my first blog I would like to introduce myself to all of you.I am SURBHI SAINI.I reside in Delhi.I am presently doing my B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IMS Engeering College Ghaziabad. It will be a surprise for you that I belong to biology background....I wanted to become a doctor but my hard work and my fate didn't supported me I ended up in getting admission in Engineering rather than medicine...Anyways I am well satisfied in that...But as we all know the crave for desire and possession never end..Afterall it's human nature...Most of the time you dont get what you want. There are several causes behind it, it could be your luck,fate...or whatever but most of us forget who actually is responsible for this.... we all say we tried our level best but do we ever realize whether it was our best.
Well that's getting very serious now...hahahaa..I am ending my post here and catch you next time with something new and interesting.
