RISING COMPETITION::BUT WHERE ARE THE SEATS???

Welcome readers
In the present scenario, competition is increasing year by year but it is a matter of fact that the no. of seats in MBBS is similar to the one which was 10-12 years back.Every year a large no. of students appear for entrance exams but only few are the lucky one's who make their way to AIIMS and the other state PMT'S.Some of them even try their luck for next year by completely dedicating themselves for the preparation .For some it becomes like a cake walk but for others the result is not fruitful. Some of them end up their struggle by taking admissions in Bsc. while the others having option of maths embrace engineering as their profession.
However, no. of seats in engineering is still more that it can accomodate biology students as well. It's far much easier to get into engineering with an equal labour and hardwork in medicine. For instance,my friend Anahita(name changed) dropped an year for medical but she managed to secure 890 rank in DPMT while my another friend Tanya(name changed) got 947 rank in DCE.Since, DPMT has 400 seats for MBBS Anahita couldn't made her way to medical and she has planned to take admission in low grade engineering collegeas she has no other option while Tanya has managed to grab a seat in a good delhi engineering college. This all makes the student frentic and depressed.
With every step taken to make our nation developed we forget about the educational problem .The main motive behind my blog is to cast shadow on the problem of seats in medical. Not only the rising competition but also the scam of leakage of examination paper is responsible for the altercation involved in the seat problem.I personally feel that the seats should be hiked and that too govt. because the private colleges can not be afforded by the common man.I feel that private colleges are meant for those students who want their child to become a doctor by hook or by crook and are willing to pay any amount for the same.
Thanks...
