Coimbatore's experiences-part 1

Hello readers,
This time there is something different in my post. This post is written from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.I have joined TCS as Assistant Systems Engineer- Trainee. So I am getting trained here for the same. This is a nice city except for certain problems which are common in every new place. I arrived here on March 24 and happy to say that I have completed more than one month very happily and comfortably. It's for the first time that I' ve been away from home and family. But so far it has been a great experience. The food is typically south Indian comprising of idli, sambhar, dosa and rice. Even if you go for the gol gappa's and traditional chaat you will find sambhar as liquid in it.
As far as I 've observed the people here they are quite reserved who smiles very rarely. But they do stare people whom they find different especially north indians. They don't understand hindi. So, its very difficult to converse with people. We use more of actions  to explain them. It's still full of fun.
Life is fully hectic here. We spend our weekdays at teknoturf (they conduct our training for ITIS) and weekends at Brookefields (the only mall at coimbatore). There is no Mc Donalds here :-( :-(. I am really missing Delhi's food here. The thought of Mc D's burger, Haldiram's snacks brings water into my mouth. I 've really realised their importance here. Once I purchased momos here from the food court of Brookefields. They were the worst momos that I've ever tasted in my life. They were filled with potato stuffing. They really tasted yuck and  cost Rs. 85 only for 6 pieces. Well this was just an example. Such experiences are felt regularly here.
There are many beautiful places nearby. Ooty is around 85km from here. I haven't been to Ooty as of now. But I'll definitely post my experience once I visit that place. I have just went to Kodaikanal. It's a hill station which is around 160km from coimbatore. Its like an ordinary hill station. After seeing hill stations like Nainital, Almora, Shimla, Manali, Munnar I find all of them alike. But the hill stations of South India are famous for their home made chocolates. They are available in all flavors and really tastes well.
Apart from my Coimbatore's experience there is something else which is making me excited. Its the performance of DELHI DAREDEVILS. They are playing amazingly well. I really love the way Sehwag plays his game. He enjoys his game to the fullest. That's what makes him different from the  rest of the players. Had I been in Delhi I would have definitely enjoyed the game at Ferozeshah Kotla.
Thats all for now....
Thanks for reading...
